Over the years they have advanced the technology of ceramic coatings, top coats, polymer sealers and waxes. One thing that has not advanced, is the methods of applying the products.
The traditional applicators are like “wax pads” which are either circle or rectangle sponge like blocks. These work good, but they tend to soak up a lot of the valuable product, with a wax job the product is relatively cheap so the loss is minimal. With a ceramic coating job the product is very costly and every drop counts.
The next applicator is the “block & cloth” which is traditionally seen by almost every ceramic coating manufacturer. This is an effective method for salvaging product and spreading it efficiently. The problem is these blocks are very hard to hold, typically having to hold a micro-suede sheet in place the entire time, and they are not ergonomically shaped allowing the person installing the coating to read the hard to reach areas around door handles and decals. This means that product is not effectively coating into these areas and the job is being compromised.
Our applicator is like nothing seen on the market. It has a beveled pointed edge that allows the installer to easily to reach all those hard to reach spots. It also has the micro-suede sheet attached to the block and makes the comfort and ease of use to the maximum. The micro-suede was hand selected to be the softest cloth to touch the surface and is also a fabric that does not absorb too much product, while still spreading the product very nicely.
